“ Excellent staff, service, and food. Got my Chai Pani favorites (okra fries, bhel puri, and Gobi 65) without the wait! And when a server noticed our okra was a little bit overcooked, he brought us a new batch that was absolutely perfect. ”
“ We waited a long time only to find out someone had stolen our order (maybe accidentally?) However they took great care of us when the mistake was realized. Went above and beyond to get us food fast. And the food was delicious! Enjoyed the outdoor seating. Thank you for your kindness and making our experience better after our food was swiped! Xoxo ”
“ Best Indian food I’ve ever had. Chicken wrap was outstanding. Never had fried okra like this - absolutely out of this world. Fried potatoes were good. Sauces all rocked. Don’t leave without getting a bev: lime rickey and mango smoothie are great. ”
“ Best Indian street food! The vibe and atmosphere is awesome and the staff is incredibly friendly. The food comes out fresh and fast. It is well-seasoned and the perfect amount of spicy. The chai also comes with Parle-G, which is the best addition. I definitely recommend stopping here whether you’re visiting Asheville or a native ”
“ Where to even start from? Being in the States for 7 years now, Indian food oftem makes me skeptical. However, Botiwala just blew our minds off. We had the Chicken tikka malai rice bowl, lamb kebab roll, chai and mango lassi. Everything was excellent and tasted very authentic. The chai came with a packet of Parle G biscuit, bringing a smile instantly. The service was quick, location is great and the food there is very affordable. A must recommended place to eat for Indian food lovers! ”
“ Excellent, just like the original with more room! Walked in for dinner and were seated right away. Everything was spot on and the service was quick and helpful ”
“ Wow, hats off to these guys; they just turned this place to a perfect downtown style eatery and the main chai pani to other big place as a full service restaurant. The Botiwala is serving great food just the way they were serving it with Chai Pani. Every single thing on their menu is an awesome creation of their great experience. Staff is as always so courteous and cool. Despite of weekend rush hours they never show their exhaustion to the guests. The owner this place must be a great person. Don’t miss the gobi 65 and Kathi rolls. ”
